Reflection after Week 4.
What has become apparent after week 4 is the sheer volume of work that is expected. I should have expected that everything needs to be documented, and from experience at work I realise that this can be very time consuming.
During the lesson in the studio we learnt the basics of ISO setting, aperture and shutter speed. Our homework is to research and also practise with these settings on our camera. In addition we need to continue our research into other photographers allied to our chosen topics. This is probably the one area where I feel least capable.
Unfortunately I have not been able to document work undertaken between week 3 and 4 since I was away. This time will just have to be caught up.
Plan:
· Research ISO, aperture & shutter speed and document in the blog
· On Sunday, take photos in the garden demonstrating different ISO settings, apertures and shutter speeds. Document observations and conclusions in the blog.
· Produce action plan for course needs e.g. statement of intent, garden research, photographer research
· Document actions of week 3 to 4.
Hi
ReplyDeleteA great idea to time manage your class time, this will allow you to identify how you are going to complete the course.
The research is a vital part of inspiration and being able to compare, contrast and measure how well you are doing.
