These images were taken on a sunny afternoon in mid October. Most of the leaves from the Virginia Creeper had dropped but I tried to collect images of the 'half way house'.

Not terribly interesting.
The following images are taken looking nearly sideways on at the creeper - lterally the stems before they too drop. This was actually quite stunning.
f/11; ISO 200; 1/80 second; focal length 48 mm
f/5.6; ISO 200; 1/400 second; focal length 55 mm
f/5.6; ISO 200; 1/500 second; focal length 48 mm
f/5.6; ISO 200; 1/500 second; focal length 48 mm
These shots have not captured the effect. Possibly the camera should be even closer concentrating on a narrow band to contrazt the textures, colours and shapes. Try again next year!
